How to Use AnyVidWall

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can this run smoothly on a low-end PC?
Yes! It runs like butter (makhan) on low-end systems. However, we recommend closing or pausing the app when doing extremely heavy tasks or gaming to ensure maximum PC performance.
2. Does it support multiple video formats?
Yes. Since AnyVidWall uses the VLC media engine, it supports almost any video format you throw at it (MP4, MKV, AVI, etc.). If VLC can play it, AnyVidWall can set it as a wallpaper.
3. Can it start automatically when I turn on my PC?
Yes. Simply right-click the app's icon in the system tray and select the "Run on Startup" option.
4. Can I apply interactive 3D wallpapers with this?
No, AnyVidWall is designed exclusively for video files. If you want interactive 3D wallpapers, please download our other software, AnyWebWall.

Known Limitations

  • 4K Video Lag: While the app supports 4K videos, attempting to play a 4K video wallpaper on a 2GB RAM system will cause lag. Stick to 720p or 1080p for older PCs.
  • Basic UI: Because it is heavily customized for maximum performance on low-end PCs, the user interface is extremely basic and lacks premium aesthetic menus.

Troubleshooting

White Screen on First Launch? When you apply a wallpaper for the very first time, the screen might turn white. To fix this, simply open the dashboard and make sure you select both a fallback Image AND a Video.
Black Screen / Wallpaper Not Applying? If the app says it is running but your wallpaper is completely black, open your Windows Task Manager, force close AnyVidWall, and restart the application.
